Michael Denisoff M.B.A., P.C.C., LEED-AP
Michael T. Denisoff M.B.A., P.C.C. LEED-AP is an expert in the disciplines of strategy and business, organizational effectiveness, training and development, executive coaching, and human resource excellence. Currently Michael is the President and CEO of Denisoff Consulting Group. He is a highly sought after consultant, speaker, and coach. Michael also has been an instructor at BOSS for over 15 years. He is currently authoring a book titled Lessons from the Field- Leadership Lessons from an Outdoor Survival Instructor.
In addition to traditional methods, Michael also utilizes some unconventional techniques, such as improvisation and survival training, to instill the skills necessary to succeed in business. He developed the executive training program, Leadership Live©, which is composed of peer coaching, role play and improvisation.
Michael has worked as a consultant with organizations across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, technology, healthcare, and service-related fields. Previous clients of his include NASA, Honda, Home Depot, Parke Davis, and IBM. Michael is also regularly retained as an executive coach by CEOs and other high-level corporate executives from the world’s leading corporations, including those on the Fortune 500.
In addition to being a highly sought after consultant and executive coach, Michael has succeeded in a variety of management roles within organizations. These include CEO+President of the ERA/Employers Resources Association, Vice President of Business Development for WATG an international design architect firm, as well as VP of Talent Management and Organizational Development for Luxottica, parent company to LensCrafters, Oakley, Ray Ban and Pearle Vision. He also was the Associate Vice President for Talent at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. Additionally, he served as the senior manager of organizational development and learning for Neutrogena, a global skin and hair-care provider.
Michael began his consulting career with the Covey Leadership Center, headed by Stephen Covey, the renowned author of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” where he worked with clients such as the United States Navy and Coast Guard, Merrill Lynch and Midatlantic Bank.
Michael received his master’s in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of its 1988 national championship football team. He attained his certification as a professional coach from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, as well as a professional certified coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation.
Michael is a multi-disciplinarian, as he has expertise not only in matters such as business consulting and executive coaching, but also in philosophy, music, athletics, improvisational comedy, social issues, and primitive living.
